Belize Cruise Excursion

If your Belize cruise excursion only allows for one day then a horseback riding adventure and accompanying tours is the best opportunity to explore it all. • Pick up at Belize City Docking Point
• Transfer to Banana Bank Lodge (approximately 1 hour)
• 1 1/2 Hour Horse Ride
• Lunch
• Banana Bank Yard Tour - (Pool, Exotic Birds, Art Gallery)
• Belize River Boat Trip
• Return to Belize City Docking Point

Price - US$99 per person
(1/2 price children 11 years and under), minimum of 4 people.
If less than 4 persons book, the full 4 person price must be charged.

Horse Back Ride - The first part of your Belize cruise excursion involves a horse ride allowing you to see exciting jungle scenery while riding through Banana Bank's Teak Plantation, open fields (great for some cantering) and along the Belize River.  Howler Monkeys, Parrots, Toucans or other wildlife are often seen along the way. 

Lunch - After the ride it's time to enjoy some of the best food Belize has to offer in a traditional thatched-roof restaurant, followed by "the yard tour" meeting Spider Monkeys and Exotic Birds (many of these animals were brought to the resort after they got injured and have become part of the Banana Bank family).

River Boat Trip-  The final part of your cruise excursion will be spent meandering down the Belize River by boat where you'll be certain to see many Iguanas, untold number of water birds and maybe even some Crocodiles or Turtles.  Again, you'll be accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who will be able to help you spot the animals and tell you all about them.

It would be hard to find a Belize cruise excursion that gets any closer to nature than this and still Banana Bank is only a 50-minute drive from Belize City and only 2 miles from Belmopan (the smallest capital in the world).  After taking this trip, you'll understand why Belize is called "Mother Nature's best kept secret".
